Mr. Vivek Rana

Mr. Rana is electrical engineering graduate from University of Arizona, MBA in MIS from Kathmandu University School of Management, with Masters in Public policy and E-governance from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. 

Mr. Rana has been working in Information Technology consulting and advisory practice specializing in Enterprise Architecture, Digital/IT strategy, risk management, cybersecurity and IT Assurance. He is Enterprise architect, with over 17 years of experience in South Asia, Europe, Africa, US, and the Pacific . He specializes in AI policy, Digital governance, IT management in BFIs, insurance, and Government domains.

Mr. Rana has been working on digital transformation initiatives in Nepal focusing on expanding digital ecosystem, along with AI policy development through public consultation taking the whole ecosystem approach to ethically manage the risks and impact AI can have on fundamental rights, human dignity, and human flourishing and sustainability. He is leading an IT assurance, risk management and Enterprise architecture consulting firm -InfoAssure in Nepal.
