Dr. Saha is Associate Professor at the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), an autonomous policy think-tank of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India based in New Delhi. Earlier, he was Assistant Professor at the same institution. He is an Economist specializing in Innovation Systems & Industrial Policy; International Trade; and Sustainable Development issues. He has co-edited three volumes published by Springer and has contributed extensively through research articles and policy briefs. Dr Saha holds a PhD in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi; where he also earned his M.Phil. and M.A. Dr Saha regularly contributes on global governance and regional cooperation issues within his domain of expertise and engages more deeply on matters related to G20, WTO, BRICS and South Asia. He is the current editor of South Asia Economic Journal published by Sage. Before joining RIS, he has worked as senior research staff at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER).
