Mr. Foqoruddin Al Kabir ​

Research Associate, Centre for Policy Dialogue​ Dhaka, Bangladesh​

Mr Foqoruddin Al Kabir is currently working as a Research Associate at the Centre for Policy Dialogue. Mr Kabir has undertaken research programme for the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF), British Council, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), European Union (EU), Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), and Overseas Development Institute (ODI), UK. His areas of research interest are Macroeconomics, Climate Change, Environmental Economics, Energy Economics, Monetary Economics, Financial Economics, and Tourism Economics with theoretical application and theoretical development. He is also skilled in qualitative and quantitative research, policy research, policy development, and idea generation. Mr Kabir received the Best Research Paper Award and Outstanding Research Paper Award at the 16th Asian Business Research Conference in 2019 held in Dhaka. He has also received the Grant-in-Aid for the Excellent Young Researcher of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT); Grant-in-Aid for Young Scientists of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B) of the JSPS for his joint research collaboration. ​
