Dr. Khondaker Golam Moazzem serves as the Research Director at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As an accomplished industrial economist with over 30 years of extensive experience, Dr. Moazzem has contributed to the field with more than 80 published works. His research covers a wide array of topics, including workers’ rights, social safety nets, and environmental sustainability. Dr. Moazzem has led significant research initiatives on global value chain development, the business environment, and the energy and power sector, with a particular focus on renewable energy. His work explores industrial relations, including labour practices and social protection issues.
