Mr. Muntaseer Kamal is currently working as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), Bangladesh. His professional endeavours predominantly concentrate on issues pertaining to macroeconomics and development economics with a specific emphasis on the developmental trajectory of Bangladesh. His other areas of interest include international economics, inclusive development, SDGs, and ICT issues. Additionally, he currently serves as the Coordinator for the Centre’s flagship programme, the Independent Review of Bangladesh’s Development (IRBD). He has peer-reviewed work with Routledge, Springer, South Asia Economic Journal and published on social protection programmes, employment, governance, inclusive growth, and public policy response. Prior to joining CPD, Muntaseer obtained Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Dhaka, Banglades
