Dr. Palikhe is an Agricultural Economist with more than 15 years of experience in Nepal’s agriculture. Currently she works as project team leader at IIDS on IFPRI collaborated projects. The pinnacle of academic achievement was reached with a Ph.D. from Tokyo University of Agriculture in the field on Farm Management and Agriculture Economics in 2010. Since then, she has been consistently devoted herself for the policy and research work in Nepal’s Agriculture. Professionally, she has held significant roles in number of agricultural development projects as an economist, agri-business expert and national agriculture expert. Her expertise is further highlighted by her role as Monitoring and Evaluation Expert and GESI specialist. Her experience reflects a strong commitment to research and development in the field of agriculture, policy planning, agri-business development with a global perspective and an emphasis on addressing food security challenges and issues in Nepal.
